OzHPV Warm Showers List
What is it all about?
As a community of recumbent riders we can support each other and share in the fun that is riding.
As part of OzHPV membership you may opt to join a secure list of fellow members (in the members only section) who are willing to offer some assistance if you are on tour. Assistance can be in the form of:
- Storage
- Shower
- Kitchen use
- Lawn space ( or dirt space in this drought)
- SAG support (support with an car)
- Bed
- Laundry
- Food
You contact those on the list who are on your travel route and discuss what your plans are and negotiate what they may be able to offer.
For those who wish to take advantage of the hospitality of fellow OzHPV members, please keep the following “rules” in mind:
- Please respect the wishes of your host(s) and show your courtesy.
- Please honor the trust your host has given you.
- Please behave appropriately.
- House gifts or monetary fees are not necessary.
- Those listed are under no obligation to host you, as they may have other responsibilties or priorites when you call.
